PROFILE OF THE PLACE
Ghana is a Sub Saharan African country, bound to the south by the
Gulf of Guinea. Politically, it is a presidential Republic. It was
dominated coloniallyt by the: dutch, portuguese,germans and the
british.
It is one of the most interesting areas in Africa either for it's
history or the most pleasant and friendly people of the black continent.
ASHANTI whose marks are found in the central plateau is the oldest
culture in Ghana, while the european domination left relics like
fortifications and castles which were used for the lucrative slave
business( these are mosatly found on the coast). From the architectural
point of view, the most important cities are Cape Coast and Elimina.
