ACTIVITIES

The Association is occupied with developmental project in Ghana, a nation in subsaharan Africa engulf in the south by the Gulf of Guinea. The Amicus Onlus project revolves around the BAOBAB PROJECT which leads to:

- promoting development and reducing poverty in the southern part of the world
- sensitize the northern part of the world of the concept of development (not quantitatively but as a social, cultural and political growth).
- realise in Italia, an intercultural activity and service to respond to the dynamics of a society, that has never been multiethnic.

THE PRINCIPAL INTERVENTION

FORMATION: to offer a formation school and professional opportunity to favour economic sufficiency and sustainable development of the community.

HEALTH: to reinforce a vulnerable community, enhance primary sanitary services, prevention and treatment of epidemic diseases typical of the area: and promoting the formation of local medical personnel.
