PROFESSIONAL SCHOOL

Ghana, in the last few years has seen thew development of a number of vocational schools, which train people to be masters of a trade. One important thing is that it is not enough to know how to produce for example a chair, rather to acuire the skills of manufacturing for example a chair. And it is not enough to be skillful in producing something rather one needs to be able to identify a product in demand and the knowhow in selling these products. The Ghanaian youth has acquired the basics of a profession but can not start a business or operate any activity to earn a living. The academy offers them the opportunity of improiving their professional training in order to have a real means of sustainance.

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT

This academy offers the unemployed Ghanaian youths who have completed vocational schools the knowledge, competence, and the instruments to operate actively in their areas of specializations and become self-sufficient.
The Academy has a provision for courses for street children to enable them enter the professional school.
