AND YOU?
CAN YOU GO WITH US TO GHANA IN JUNE AND JULY 2004?
Amicus is organizing a 6/8 week mission to Ghana, between June and
July 2004. The principal objective of the mission is to collate
data and materials(photographs, interviews, video) on the condition
of Ghanaian University Students and the psycho-social conditions
of Street Children.
There is also the possiblity to visit the Baobab Academy(Ghana)
and present a lesson in the school. This would enable the students
to know the cultural and structural differences between our system
of education and theirs. The data collated would be analysed and
factored into the Baobab University and the Alphabets Centre for
Street Children, which are embodied in the originel project of the
Amicus Onlus in Ghana.
NOTE: The mission presents a fine opportunity of collating
data and materials for your faculty: political science/social science;
science education and psychology.
REQUIREMENT: Good knowledge of the English Language
The volunteer would cater for all expenses to be incurred and would
not be paid. At the moment there is a team of two voluteers going
to work with the local personnel.
